In the 3rd IQC, KIET’s quality initiatives reached a milestone with a comprehensive review of PREE outcomes. Prof. Dr. Sajida Parveen led the analysis of program compliance, PDCA-based corrective actions, and documentation, clearly demonstrating KIET’s progress in institutionalizing continuous quality improvement.
The 3rd Institutional Quality Circle (IQC) meeting at KIET, chaired by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalid Khan, President KIET, convened statutory officers, deans, and external reviewers to evaluate the progress of the institution’s continuous quality enhancement initiatives. The meeting showcased the successful completion of the first full academic quality cycle, including the implementation of PREE (Program Review and Evaluation Exercise) and adherence to RIPE (Reporting, Implementation, and Performance Evaluation) standards, with systematic monitoring of PDCA-based corrective actions ensuring sustainable improvements. Academic units’ submissions were thoroughly reviewed to assess compliance, identify strengths, and highlight areas requiring enhancement, while discussions addressed institutional, operational, and resource-related challenges, such as coordination, data management, and infrastructure support. External reviewers provided constructive recommendations for evidence-based decision-making, effective reporting aligned with HEC requirements, and faculty development to strengthen quality practices. The Chairperson recognized the significant progress made in embedding a culture of continuous quality improvement, underscoring KIET’s commitment to excellence and the proactive follow-up actions that will guide future IQC cycles.
