The 4th Institutional Quality Circle (IQC) meeting at KIET, chaired by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalid Khan, President KIET, convened statutory officers, deans, and external reviewers, including former SHEC Director Mr. Saleemuddin, to rigorously assess the institution’s quality enhancement progress. Prof. Dr. Sajida Parveen, Director QEC, presented a detailed report on the implementation of the first full academic quality cycle, demonstrating significant advances in PREE (Program Review and Evaluation Exercise) and RIPE (Reporting, Implementation, and Performance Evaluation) compliance, with systematic PDCA-based corrective actions ensuring measurable improvements. The meeting included a thorough review of all academic units’ documentation, evaluating compliance against RIPE standards, identifying gaps, and mapping progress directly to HEC scorecard indicators for teaching, learning, research, and program effectiveness. Discussions focused on operational, institutional, and resource-related challenges, including data management, faculty engagement, and infrastructure optimization, while external reviewers provided technical recommendations to strengthen evidence-based decision-making and quality reporting. The Chairperson recognized Prof. Dr. Sajida Parveen’s pivotal role in leading these initiatives, underscoring her leadership in driving continuous quality improvement, ensuring HEC-aligned documentation, and establishing a robust foundation for future IQC cycles.
