KIET held a comprehensive awareness and capacity-building session for faculty and staff focused on the RIPE Framework, aligning with the latest HEC Quality Assurance policy (PSG 2023). The session began with opening remarks by Prof. Dr. Sajida Parveen, emphasizing the session’s strategic importance to KIET’s quality enhancement culture.
Mr. Muhammad Islam, Director IQAE/QEC at Newports Institute, delivered an insightful presentation on integrating RIPE standards into institutional processes, covering topics such as performance evaluation, IQC formation, CQI alignment, and implementation strategies. The session included an interactive Q\&A where faculty discussed challenges related to documentation, committee roles, and SAR alignment.
The event concluded with a closing address by the President of KIET, who acknowledged the efforts of the organizing team and highlighted the importance of building internal capacity to meet evolving quality standards. A token of appreciation was awarded to the guest speaker, with special recognition given to the students for their meaningful engagement in the RIPE process.
